Executive Protection Security

We were contacted by a manager of a company who needed assistance with an individual who was sending threatening messages to him. After reviewing all the correspondence between the two, we deemed that this individual was likely falling in love and stalking the client and his family. We were contracted to conduct security at this residence to watch over his property and family while helping resolve the issue behind the scenes. She was soon identified, located, and served with a cease and desist letter at her home.

Insurance Fraud Investigations

We had a case with a subject that claimed he was permanently and totally disabled. This subject’s attorney was very insistent that she would not settle his claim, and in fact, they claimed a present value of $395,000 with the need for ongoing psych care and neuropsychic care. This attorney did not think that he had any mental capabilities to hold a job, which made him eligible for permanent total disability. When conducting surveillance for the subject’s employer, we found out that he was voluntarily working at a treatment center and helping with their accounting. We were able to petition this company to find out further details of his employment. We got the neuropsychic to say his traumatic brain injury was over fabricated, and this forced the employee’s attorney to entertain settlement. However, the employee’s attorney demand only dropped down to $350,000 with the closure of medical. We then conducted additional surveillance, which showed that he could do several things, including taking a bus on his own. His employer eventually settled the claim for $150,000 to close out all medical with an employment law release. This resulted in a $200,000 cost savings.

All of the team had been with the company for several years, and the background search seemed to be a necessary nuisance. The preliminary findings on the president of the company found several judgments and liens in another state from 15 years ago. He also had two DWI convictions in more recent years. After immediately notifying the client, we searched the additional state jurisdiction and were able to provide very detailed information on all the civil and criminal lawsuits.

Verifying education may not seem important to you or the deal, however, if individuals claim to have attended or graduated from an institution, it should be verified. Why? Past employment and education are very easy to "fudge" and rarely verified. If someone is lying about a degree, what else are they "fudging"? The number one thing people lie about is their education degree. This is a great way of determining someone’s character.
